Annual Report
Aug. 7, 2009: CIC launched its Annual Report 2008 today, which was approved by its Board of Directors on July 22, 2009. This is CIC’s inaugural annual report after its first complete accounting year since inception.
The Annual Report described CIC’s background, culture and core values, corporate governance, investment strategy and management, risk management, human resources and 2008 financials.
The Annual Report was prepared in accordance with requirements of the China Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises issued by the Ministry of Finance in 2006, which converges with International Financial Reporting Standards. Financial statements disclosed in the Annual Report include consolidated Income Statement of the year ended December 31, 2008, and consolidated Balance Sheet as of December 31, 2008, audited by its independent auditors with an unqualified opinion reported thereon.
