First Annual Meeting of the International Advisory Council held in Beijing
July 5, 2009: The first annual meeting of CIC¡¯s International Advisory Council (the ¡°Council¡±) took place in Beijing on July 5th.
The Council is an internal advisory body consisting of well-known experts, who would, at the request of CIC, provide advice to assist the company on issues including global macro-economic environment, corporate governance, development strategy, investment policy, as well as upgrading corporate image and increasing transparency.
The Council convenes once a year, and may convene interim meetings as and when necessary. The first International Advisory Council is composed of 14 experts of international reputation and status.
