Governance

CIC set up its Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors in accord with China's Company Law. The three governing bodies of CIC are the Board of Directors, the Board of Supervisors and the Executive Committee.

As a long-term financial investor, CIC invests globally and independently. As a responsible investor, we abide by the laws and regulations of China and recipient countries and conscientiously fulfill our corporate social responsibilities.

Recently, Chairman PENG Chun met with Stephen Schwarzman, Chairman of Blackstone. They exchanged views on topics including the cooperation between the two organizations, global economic and market landscapes, and key investment areas. They agreed that it’s imperative to take initiative to navigate the complexities and challenges in the market, and the two organizations will step up communication and cooperation going forward.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. BAO Jianmin, Member of Executive Committee of CIC, as well as department heads from both CIC and Blackstone.
